It has a Spanish Cedar neck, an ebony fingerboard, a rosewood bridge with pre-ban ivory tie block cap, and a bone saddle and nut.
The scale length is 650mm and the nut width is 52mm. It is fitted with Gotoh tuners and finished in a clear lacquer without the use of dyes or stains. Over time the top and back will acquire the natural golden patina characteristic of old flamenco and classical guitars.
I've taken larger photos of the front quarter, the front, the side, the side quarter, the back, the headstock, the tuners, and the rosette. Click on a link to view the photo and then use your back button to return here.
This guitar was constructed in the general style of Manuel Reyes, following the pattern made available by the Guild of American Luthiers, with modifications of my own design. For more information about my work as a luthier, please see my Builder's Journal.
I can install clear tap plates on this guitar at the buyer's request.
